Hi can anyone give me some info on this machine how well do they handle warped or shrunken film,I noticed on E-Bay Kinnerman in Miami,Fla. has them for sale (new) in box. Thanks Jim

This model was Kalart-Victor's boring slot-loading antidote to the classic but somewhat enigmatic Victor manual-threading design of the 40-series up to the 80-series (that includes the 70- and 75-series machines shown elsewhere). This model was built from the late 1970s probably until K-V's demise around 1989.

I sold this projector back in 2004. These machines are so bland, they generate almost no interest through an eBay auction unless the opening bid price is set next to nothing."

Hey Dan any info on these Kalart Victors 90-25 series on how they handle warped film? Jim

I haven't heard anything about these projectors. Seems a lot of people like the Eike Slotloads though. The only drawback with the Eiki is, if you need a one inch lens, it going to cost several hundred dollars if you can find the darn lens.

I use Bell & Howell auto loads. The 1500 series are good for me. Once you learn how to keep them maintained they're very reliable.
There is one niche with the B&H 1500s and that is the infamous nylon worm gear that is usually cracked, but Ken Layton can install a new neoprene worm gear.

Hey Dan thanks a lot for the info on the Victors kind of expensive for a machine that no one knows anything about. I've been using Kodak/Elmos I have 2 an usually ping-pong the two for change-overs they seem fine but a print that has a warp will go in an out of focus but the two B&H 2580's also slot load will lock in a warped print just fine. I ordered 2 new drive belts from Larry Urbanski an took the machines over to this repair place aptly named West-Tech Electronics here in Sun City he's my Hawaiian angel his name is Lou an has experiance on B&H's plus he's reasonable $40.00 per machine an 10 minutes from my house. I have a brand new B&H Jan purchased from Kinnerman in Miami I believe I have maby 4 hours running time on this machine it weighs a ton I paid $495.00 plus shipping but if anyone you know is interested $300.00 would do me fine just a thought anyway thanks again for your input,oh nice screening room mate. Jim
