I have two large 8 ohm speakers. My projector is Stereo and is designed for 4 ohm. I know that 2 8ohm speakers when wired parallel = 4 ohm. How do I wire Left to one speaker and Right to the other and maintain 4 ohm?

I don't think that can be done. Your best sound and ohm match will be to use the stereo headset out into a stereo receiver or amp line in(CD,Aux, etc.), then use the receiver/amp speakers. Set the receiver volume a at about 1/3, ease the headset out volume on the projector up to get a ball park match. Don't ever use the phono in!!!
