Latest offering from a rock legend in Mountain Home. A 16mm Tuscan reel converted to 8mm. Described as 'Rare', well, it would be. Secondly, described as professionally altered. I wonder who this professional was?; sounds like a breach of the Trades Description Act. Note the hub is off centre, this may account for the screws not being equally placed. Any takers.

Oh my what a nice professional job! [set5_b/set5_b/icon_bs.gif] Yes it looks like the hub is concentric to the O.D. of the reel. NOT!

Nice find, Robert! I guess those royalty checks are allowing extra time for new entrepreneurial endeavors [set5_b/set5_b/iamwithstupid.gif] Last time I checked, three 400' Marketing films equaled 1200' [set5_b/set5_b/iamwithstupid.gif] It's listed in the 16mm category and it doesn't state it has been converted to 8mm or super 8. Looks like a core has been placed in the hub area, there also appears to be a super 8 reel adapter in the middle. What kind of dumb ass concoction is this???

I wonder if he used the invisible core? [set5_b/set5_b/smilielol5.gif]

Yes, but I need to know: is this compatible with the Platter on a Plank?

Thought you would enjoy that one Dan; I never noticed that 3x400 = 1200ft; so really it's of no use to anyone. Wonder what he will come up with next?

It better be compatible with the platter on a plank... If it sells he has to get the film off the reel!!!

Why doesn't he just say it's an empty reel up for auction? His auction description is kinda confusing.

I think that's done on purpose.
