Good morning/afternoon where ever you are.
I have recently acquired a vintage 1935 CAMPRO which no doubt many of you will know all about. I thought Sony were the only producers of a Video camera which included a projector how wrong was I. I will try to upload some images. This camera will shoot a 30ft reel and once developed will project it and will also project a 60ft reel as were available in Libraries at the time. I have no idea how good or successful this machine was but mine seems all there lamp intact and one unopened film cassette still sealed though no doubt of not much use now.
One thing is missing which may have been an accessory, an extra lens that clips onto the fixed lens for use when projecting. Now I would dearly like to get hold of this item or failing that find out what it consists of. I am guessing its a corrective lens of some sort so if any of you kind people can help I would be very grateful.
:D

What a rare device, Martin. We have to make the resurrection complete and find you a lens. Thanks for sharing and hopefully someone will help.

Hello Martin, those Campro do turn up quite often; I believe Grahame Newnham has one for sale at present. He specialises in 9.5mm and you can get information on his website. He might be able to put you in touch with someone that can supply your missing part. Also on his website is information about 9.5mm fairs.

Thank you very much Robert will investigate asap... :D I did have a look and this scared me off contacting him
This web-site has been compiled over the years for use by fellow collectors and maybe
newcomers to the film / film equipment collecting hobby - I do hope it of some use.

I REALLY CAN'T SPARE TIME TO COPE WITH E-MAILS & PHONE CALLS
FROM THOSE WHO FIND OLD FILMS & CINE EQUIPMENT
READ CAREFULLY PLEASE!
I DO NOT PURCHASE OR VALUE VINTAGE CINE FILMS & EQUIPMENT!
(SADLY MOST HAS LITLE VALUE THESE DAYS - TRY E-BAY!)
I CAN'T REPLY TO RELEVANT E-MAILS & MAY HAVE TO TERMINATE PHONE CALLS
PLEAE DON'T WASTE MY VALUABLE TIME!

There is a 9.5 Society, if you hunt around the internet, also look for a Ken Valentine, he may be able to help, or put you in touch with the right person.
