Interesting advertisement from 1947. This was not SOF; the system used synchronized RECORDS and, most interesting, Castle Films provided material (according to the ad!) for this obviously short-lived technology. Anyone have any Castle catalogs from the 1947 era that might mention this?

I've been doing this 15 years now online but that is the first example I've seen of that except for the Americom 8mm prints which included records. Americom released several 8mm silent prints with records but they were released the same time as soundstriped 8mm prints so a totally different time frame. New to me.
