I have a question. I have a Red Fox print that has been in my collection for years. Watched it last time about 3 years ago and the color was perfect. Now it is beet red at best. Still, some of the short films I have (Ken Films mainly Star Wars, Empire, Alien) Still look as good as they did 10 years ago. How does a print go red so fast? I always talk about color stock film when it comes to 16mm but how can color change so fast on super 8 features when my digests look the same after years in storage since they have all been kept together? Is there a way to tell color stock film with super 8 since most of the film is covered either in image or mag-track?
