No, not full episodes but I do have a 200' reel that has a trailer from the 40's Superman serial and some TV spots from the George Reeves show in B&W and color. It's called SUPERMAN PROMO REEL. I'm not sure who put it out.

Thanks to the earlier sunsets, and a bit of a work slowdown, I'm catching up on some recent acquisitions. I threaded the Eiki with my $9.99 1937 "Educational Pictures" short comedy KOO KOO KORRESPONDENCE SKOOL. I was nothing short of amazed and now consider this surreal gem one of the coolest prints in my collection. Jefferson Machamer was a cartoonist of the era and wrote and starred in a series of shorts for Educational. In this short, Machamer is having trouble with his sketching--he looks at a beautiful model (and there are PLENTY of them in this reel) and draws a picture of a cow. He tells his servant "Cloudy" to immediately enroll him in the mail order "Koo Koo Korrespondence Skool". (Racist humor here.) He then sets up shop at the post office to be sure and study each lesson the moment it arrives. He discovers models behind mailbox doors and sketches each lesson etc and successfully completes the entire course in just a few minutes. It's diploma time but we have to go back to his apartment to celebrate ("Round up some entertainment, Cloudy!") Sure enough, he has a full stage and curtains in his apartment and there's plenty of tap dancing, music and lounging beautiful models packing the place. It's a whirlwind blizzard of surreal humor and situations and before you scarcely blink 18 minutes have rushed off the screen. In all my years of collecting and enjoying movies, I am sorry I didn't encounter this guy until now. I will be on the lookout for more of his shorts. The print is an "Official Films" print but does have the original Educational titles. The print is pin sharp and the following digital snaps do not do it justice.

Screened my 16mm TECHNICOLOR print of "The Jolson Story" last night. This was one of my favorite movies as a kid--but I only knew it in the black and white world of late 50s tv. I have a print of "Jolson Sings Again", the sequel, also in Tech, which I plan to watch next weekend.

Both those prints look nice. JOLSON looks amazing. I've always wanted a 16mm IB Tech print of that one. Pretty expensive, though!

I screened this a while back but I am always on the lookout for DRAGNET on 16mm.

This is my first B&W episode, it is complete except it is missing the end titles. I also have a color episode but it is sadly pink.

Nice screenshots. I´d love to own some of these old black/white TV-shows

All those screenshots are amazing. Some of the 16mm TV shows are incredibly sharp.
