Eumigs 900 series projectors apparently has a problem with the two wires going into the block where their lamps plug in. The two holes were stretced on my S912 when I purchased it and I replaced it with another harness off another 912. In no time I started having problems with my lamp not coming on. After wiggling the lamp and then the wires going into the block where the bulb fits the lamp began to work. I recently purchased another 912 for parts. I changed out the lamp wiring harness a second time and am having the same problem. Is this just a coincidence or has anyone else ran into this type of trouble? Also is it possible to remove the front plate of the block to do some soldering?

Roger, have you cleaned or inspected the contacts in the control knob? Might want to contact John Capazzo, Richard Patchette, or Lee Mannering via PM. They're very knowledgeable about these Eumigs.

Hi Dan,

I just found out that it is a short in the two wires leading into the block that the lamp plugs into. This is the second harness that I have installed and it has this very same problem. I have edited my post.
