Well as many here know I have been looking for a standard gate for my eumig 810D LUX for ages now and have had no luck from English suppliers or buying a cheap one for parts from EBay, so I goggled classified adds and found various sites with cine stuff for sale. One add read for sale eumig projector and had listed a phone number, so I called this lovely lady who said she had cleared out a relatives flat whose husband used to be a keen cine fan and said she also had another projector, a stand, splicer, screen and a few movies and I could have them for £50 about $79. So the eight boxes came today and there where over ninety movies and the projectors look like new!
So I am going to test them now, I will let you know how it goes.

Wayne, It's not a slide projector... it's a Technicolor "Super 8 Cassette" Projector. (But I don't see any Cassettes amongst Colin's film Haul.)!

Welcom Colin,

Nice find! I noticed that in your films you had a Universal 8 print of the Mummy. Is that the 5" or 7" reel and is it Sound or Silent?

oooohhh I see it now...that is the first cassette film player I have ever seen before...I just looked at the shape & lens and assumed... :oops:
