The forward and reverse control on my S912 has become rather lose feeling. The functions still work but it has a lot of play in it. The control knob has to be manually positioned to where the cut out in the knob will line up so the machine can be shut off. Any advise? THANK YOU MARTIN FOR YOUR HELP. |

I've come across this before on 900 series machines. A leaf spring assembly providing positive stops on a star wheel behind the main chassis fractures. It is almost impossible to see because it is hidden behind the chassis casting... and impossible to reach without MAJOR dis-assembly! There is an accessible area where an alternative spring COULD be fabricated and fitted by someone good with his hands and brain! (I've communicated this to Roger via email as well). Martin |
