It’s a great idea to have this sort of post as anyone looking to release sellable super 8 short subjects can keep an eye on what collectors are looking to purchase.

My own two top wants for 2012 would be as follows.

Looking ahead it would be nice to have a new 200ftr available with a Christmas theme and cartoons are always popular for collectors.

Secondly Classic Home Cinema are looking to release a new vintage trailer from an original 1940 print which features Britain’s top Cinema box office star of the day George Formby. The film ‘Let George Do It’ broke all box office at the time and featured a great all star cast with the best Formby songs I would say. From time to time Derann used to release British classic trailers and my guess is this would be a worthy issue from CHC, particularly as we have just celebrated 50 years since George passed away. My order has already been placed and if CHC get enough names down it will happen. If you would like this trailer contact Classic Home Cinema and commit yourself to buying a print.
