HI all!

i have a problem with a Chinon 7000. Can someone please remove the lamp house cover on their projector and tell me what kind of retainer in on the capstain shaft where it protrudes fron the chasis? The projector plays fine but without that retainer if it is tipped on it's back the weight of the balance wheel makes the capsatain shaft slide out of the hole. Them I have to take the back off and reinsert it. I have attached a couple of pics with a circle and an arrow to show the exact location. You will see there is a slot in the shaft for some kind of retainer to keep it from sliding out. I tried an "E" ring but it didn't work. So I am guessing it might be a "C" ring. An "E" ring is shaped like a letter "E" but has 3 tabs on it to snap it onto the shaft. These are the things that usually go flying when you remove them! Never to be found again. A "C" ring is just a plain steel wire shapes like a "C". The lamp house cover just snaps off. If you can take a pic and post it that would be great. If not just describe it as best as you can. Thanks to whomever does for me.
