My GS1200 has developed a problem when sceening a film. The projected image "judders" for lack of a better word, on the screen. The projected image does not remain steady on the screen. Can anybody suggest what might be the problem and how I can attempt to fix it. Here in Sydney, there are no longer any repair facilities for movie projectors. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Les, inside the The back cover plate there is a small Motor control circuit board maybe one and 1/2“ x 1“. If you can find a new motor control board this will probably resolve the problem. If you can find one they are easy to replace remove a couple of screws and a small multiplug, then install the new one.

Thanks Dan for the suggestion. Finding a replacement will not be easy but I will give it a go. Thanks again!

Les

Hi again Dan,

With regard to my GS1200 problem, you mentioned that it might be the "motor control circuit board". Would you possibly have a photo or diagram of the item that I could use to look for a replacement? It is almost impossible to look for the item when I don't know what it looks like. I opened the back of my GS1200 and I don't even know what I'm looking for?
Van Eck Video Services might have the part that I need - so a photo would help me.
