Hi I bought the Chinon 4100 to screen some films I will be selling...Would anyone know the exact bulb I need for it...I order a pair of bulbs online that supposedly fit this projector and a few others..The bulbs came in they were 2 for 15.00...it seemed really cheap...One went in fast and seems bright but as soon as I play anything I can barely see an image...Checked the gate and a few other things that Chris suggested, nothin blocking the lens... but still very faint image...I am thinking the bulbs I bought are not the ideal ones. The bulb I bought was also to fit Canon and a few other projectors..and was a 50 watt bulb. Thanks...would anyone know where Id be able to get a copy of the instruction booklet?

Steven, It sounds like it could be the safety shutter not working? That would give you a dark look. So check it to see. Good luck! Leon Norris. From Leon's Elmo projector Repair!
