What are you showing for Halloween? I'll be reeling up a 16mm feature of Psycho and a few super 8 vampire trailers. If I can find a cartoon with a scary theme, that will complete the line up. Sometimes, I have more than one night of halloween shows, how about you?

Great pick, Dan, I would love to show thaqt title. I'll be projecting one of two--haven't decided yet. It's either INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS the 1956 classic in Super 8-- OR-- (tough choice here) MURDER IN THE BLUE ROOM on 16mm--June Pressier, Betty Kean and Grace McDonald ('The 3-Jazzy Belles') belting out "The Boogie-Woogie Boogie Man" in this definitive mysterious old house-be-bop 1944 Universal romp. And with gorgeous Anne Gwynne, too!! I will definitely show my cutdown of Disney's LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW (16mm) and have to include at least one Super 8 FLIP THE FROG cartoon: they were nasty and surreal, even by cartoon standards!

My best guess this early in the game would be Tarantula and How To Make A Monster for a double bill with a few monster type snipes thrown in for good measure. [set5_b/set5_b/sifone.gif]

Murder In The Blue Room sounds like a cool movie. I have the theatrical trailer of MITBR. Tarantula is a classic too! Love that period with giant insects like spiders, ants, flies, wasps, and not to forget the shellfish: crabs, octopi, and the shrimp that ate Miami. I made that last one up. Oink! oink!
