Hi there , the lens from our Eumig Mark S 802 D was removed and can not figure out how to install it back correctly. Does not seem to focus at all.
Also the framing knob (up and down) does not seem to work. I can turn it till it comes out of the projector or turn it all the way in till it stops but does not adjust the framing. Anyone with any ideas???
Thanks
Andy

Hello!

I have a Eumig 810 and I think it is the same...with the lens out of the projector toward the back of the barrel is a flat spot, this needs lined up with the focusing knob and when you insert the lens back in you pull out on the focus knob and the lens will seat itself. I am not sure about the framing issue but hopefully that will get your lens back in.

Bill

Andy,
Please provide us with a detailed explanation of the "framing problem" you are having. That could mean a WHOLE lot of things--but I would like to know exactly what you feel isn't working correctly on your projector. Thanks

Thanks Chris for trying to help. Thanks.
Ok, my problem is that the knob that moves the frame north or south seems to do nothing. By framing I mean that part of the projected image shows either on the upper part of the picture or the bottom part. I got other projectors and it seems to work fine. This framing knob can turn left or right. One way it will go all the way in and stop but it moves nothing. If I turn it the other way it just turns freely till it comes out of the projector. I guess it somehow got disconected but no idea how to fix it , meantime the image stays split on the screen. Did I describe it good enough??? In case its not please let me know.

Thanks again
Greetings
Andy

Thanks, Andy. Sounds like something is worn or stripped, since the knob isn't doing anything. I will investigate a projector with a similar framing knob and see how it functions properly and get back to you.
