Hi Mike,

I got it but it is far from being Mint. I am waiting for a sound head and there seems to be a problem with something on the board that produces current to the motor. It ran long enough to find several issues which I have been correcting one at a time. I sent the head and the board to Leon Norris. He will check the board but seems to have a good idea what the problem is. I did manage to receive a full refund and was told to keep the projector. Hopefully these two issues will straighten it out again. Amps, UV meters, lamp and power indicator lights are working. Both tracks appear to be functioning correctly and it will project film with a good steady picture. There was some sound from both speakers but it was very faint. I will install the head and hope that Leon can fix the board issue. Since the projector cost me nothing I don't mind sinking a few dollars into it. If problems keep arising it will probably go for parts.

Mike,

Leon called about the sound head and found that the playback side of the one that I sent was weak but record was still good. He is soldering another head and will finish it today. He should have the board I sent by Monday and hopefully it will be a simple fix. I'll let you know the results when I get ELMO back together.
