Hello to all, I am a new Guy. Today I purchased a Wards 885a 8mm projector. I got it at Goodwill $5.99. The bulb went the second I turned it on and the motor runs but no action at the arms. The bulb is a DCH 150 watt 120 volt. There is a knurled wheel in the front that rotates the rear arm pin, not sure of the proper nomenclature. Probably a broken belt, also the directional lever is stuck in the neutral position. Does anyone have any knowledge of this item ? I haven't had it apart yet, so I am looking for some advice. I was looking for an 8mm projector to check out some old movies my Dad made when I was little. That was in the 60's. Thanks.. I will post some pic's later to show what i am working with. |

Greetings The lamp DCH-DJA-DFP $44.00 is on my web site Could be lack of lubrication from sitting around May be a broken belt I have a few 8mm projectors on my web site around $60.00 plus shipping These have been rebuilt and have a 90 return policy except for shipping cost Please see my web site RC **** Note if you get these transferred Keep the film if the DVD gets scratched or warped There goes your Dads old movies and your memories |
