Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums.

I have just purchased a BELL & HOWELL 1225 XL Super 8 Camera, off ebay.

From the details I have found online it does automatic exposure by the Super 8 cartridges notch system. However, on super8database.com it says under the information regarding my camera...

"film speed: auto for 25/40 and 100/160 ASA only (daylight/tungsten)"

Does that mean that this specific film which is rated at 200ASA is not going to work in my camera?

I hope someone can help clarify things,

Thank you very much

Ryan

If the cameras exposure can be set manually you can use any film. Under the automatic features it will only work with 25/40 100/160.
