I only recently became aware that Derann had released a feature length Vampire Circus.

Does anyone have a complete list of the horror movies which Derann released?

Were these all low fade?

Mike, wasn't there a list in one of the issues of CHC's Film Collector magazine?
Adrian Winchester is the man to contact , his knowledge is second to none on this topic.

Mal, I didn't get that issue of the magazine. Is Adrian a member on here?

Joe, thanks.I had a feeling they wouldn't be. Do you know if Vampire Circus was a low fade release.

The only one I have is (Horror of) Dracula and it's a beautiful print.

I don't think Adrian is on this forum, but is on 8mm forum. He is also on Facebook so you could inbox him.
At the moment I have a lot of stuff in storage due to imminent major work on our house so I'm not quite sure where I've stashed the mags but I will have a look and get back to you.
I think you're pretty safe with regards to fade on the later full-length Hammers, it's the earlier 4 X 400 abridged versions that may / will have fade.

I think I'm finished with the 8mm forum as long as Osi is there, Mal.

I'll catch up with Adrian on FB.

Thanks.

My personal experience was with what Mal referred to...the 4X400' abridgements. Some I've had over the years had varying degrees of fade. I never had a print of VAMPIRE CIRCUS, so I can't comment on that one....

I had a copy of Vampire Circus on Eastman. Very sharp image, but faded to pink which worked out on the nude scenes.
