A Calvin Sound 8 will arrive at my house soon. We have the nursery all prepared. [set5_b/set5_b/biggrinjester.gif] Not sure what working condition it will be in. This is the very hard to find standard 8 sound projector made in the 1950s. It has a 2200' reel capacity and a 300 watt incandescent lamp. It's been an 8 year search. [set5_b/set5_b/willy_nilly.gif]

Sounds good. I never knew there were Standard 8 machines with large capacity. A full report when it arrives, please boss??

Have never heard of this projector before. Would like to have one for my standar 8 features.

Calvin has arrived! I need a power cord. I am going to disassemble Calvin first and clean the tube amp and check wiring, lubricate the moving parts. Photo of the procedure will accompany the progress. [set5_b/set5_b/smash.gif]

Well phooey!! i have sprained my thumb and it is taking forever to get well, so not Calvin restoration yet. It just sits here looking at me saying "fix me, fix me". "I'll make a deal with you Calvin. You fix my thumb and I will fix you". [set5_b/set5_b/toetap05.gif]
