First, Happy 4th, to all the celebrants, for what's left of the day. I just returned from a visit to my daughter (she lives in Kansas) and she arranged a very VERY interesting one-of-a-kind tour of the old CENTRON STUDIOS in Lawrence; home to a gazillion educational shorts as well as many "industrial" films AND the base for the GREAT Herk Harvey who produced and directed the classic 60s horror flicture CARNIVAL OF SOULS. I also visited numerous locations for "Carnival" while I was there--soon as I decompress, I'll post some photos for your enjoyment!

Thanks for the heads up, Chris. I've watched many Centron films over the years. Some of these educational are really worth keeping and showing as a short subject before the main attraction. Several of my film parties have been all edus.

Thanks to our man on the scene somewhere in Kansas. [set5_b/set5_b/driving.gif]
