Yes, Super Lube "Synthetic Grease" (bar code 082353210305) is perfectly safe for projectors. You can buy it in many auto parts stores, hardware stores, tool supply stores, etc. I also use Dow-Corning # 33 Light (pink in color) grease, but it is much more expensive. |

Greetings I have been using Super Lube "Synthetic Grease" for 15 + years. Doing service work After 3 years when the projector is returned for service the Grease is still there and not all over the inside it stays intact. RC |

Thanks to Ken and Richard - looks like SuperLube is safe for gears. May I ask best lube for motor/fans spindle bearings?? Is 3 in 1 OK, or should I get something more refined eg clock oil? Pls recommend based on your B&H experience. (PS Now have removed housing of 483 and can see that belt has stretched - which may be part of noise I was hearing. Have ordered a PIM Replacement Lamp Module form Tveden and a new belt.) Thx John |

The oil contained in the famous "Zoom Spout Oiler" is turbine oil and perfect for projectors and motors. I use it. It's available on the shelf at some Ace Hardware stores and many tool supply/hardware stores. https://www.amazon.com/Supco-CE441-Zoom ... B00DM8JK2G |
