What do you have planned, or, what have you screened already?? Christmas has been my favorite time of year to put the stuff up on the big screen and this year will be no exception. I'm happy that my son, who lives in Vermont, will arrive for a week's visit on Sunday. (His sisters living in Kansas and Washington State will not make it home.) Son Chris LOVES the archive of film here so I expect to screen a lot of stuff....and so much to pick from: I have "It's A Wonderful Life", "March of the Wooden Soldiers" and a slew of Christmas cartoons "The Shanty Where Santy Claus Lives" (best Xmas toon ever), the Tom and Jerry "Night Before Christmas", the Fleisher "Christmas Comes But Once A Year", the beautiful Super 8 prints of "Mister and Mistletoe", "Pluto's Christmas Tree" and Disney's "Night Before Christmas"... and a very nice 16mm LPP print of Disney's "Small One". Plus, we can pick from EVERY Castle Films Christmas release or switch to TV on 16mm and watch THE HONEYMOONERS in "The Night Before Christmas" or the Clampetts celebrate Christmas in THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES, and Rod Serling gets into the act with Art Carney in the unforgettable TWILIGHT ZONE episode "The Night of the Meek". And, my favorite, Denholm Elliot in "A CHILD'S CHRISTMAS IN WALES". So...what are YOU screening????

What a great selection, Chris! I have to strap my kids to a chair. [set5_b/set5_b/toetap05.gif] Die Hard is one of the favs though. Hearing Vaughn Monroe sing "Let It Snow" gives us such a warm and fuzzy feeling after all the carnage.

We just had our Christmas kids matinee for neighbor's, Grand kids and any another other kids and their parents. We watched The Littlest Angel, Pups Christmas, and the Little Brown Burro. It was a cookie exchange for the kids along with the goodies my wife and I made. There was popcorn everywhere! After the films were done my 3 year old grand daughter said "said I want Noopy" So we all watched Charlie Brown Christmas on the digital projector. This is the only picture that came out of the party. The kids had fun and so did my wife and I.

Like the cover of Filmo Topics, I have a couple of issues. Got three westerns in for Christmas. Only Christmas movies I have are on digital format.
