One thing that bothers me about this auction, the seller states the photos are from the actual film. This is a lie. If you key in The Red Balloon in a google search and then tick images you will see the same photographs in the same aspect ratios or croppings.

They didn't look like screenshots. I have seen this film offered before, different print, so there are other copies about.

Congrats to the seller, for sure. With that said, I agree with Robert, there are other LPP prints of this title out there...I sold two, possibly three of them over the past 10 years or so but no way on earth did the prices approach this astonishing sum

I've never seen a LPP print of this title go for that price.
I've seen a few high sales on IB Tech prints of this title but I'm not even certain THEY went this high!
That's amazing, frankly.
...and, I agree. I don't think those are shots from the print at all.

Below are some of the photos the seller copied from Google Images and are not from the actual film. It took awhile to find them. I had to link off of several photos to find the others. Someone looked for photos that couldn't be found easily. it was like a maze. Hmmmmmmmmm. [set5_b/set5_b/cuss.gif]
