There's a guy over on the 8mm forum who's trying to sell an Elmo ST1200. He reckons if nobody buys it, he's gonna make a video of him smashing it up to show all the Super 8 fans!! Is this some kinda cine version of emotional blackmail?? I actually laughed out loud.

There was a fellow about 10 years ago trying sell his 16mm features on Ebay. I think his name was Quinn. Anyway, his opening bids were high. After no sales he became quite frustarted and insulting. He stated if no one buys his films he was going to burn them. |

He posted yesterday that he had considered binning a Siemens Super 8 projector if it didn't sell, eventually it went at over £200. I noticed he was very vocal in the thread criticising Paul Foster, yet he is very economical with his descriptions, sometimes he puts 'Spooled up and ready to show', aren't all films like that?, the ones I buy are. |

Yes, Robert, most films are 'spooled up' and ready to show...except...except if they are on a CORE |
