How long is the shelf life of Filmguard? I have a bottle for 7yrs or so, partly used, but it still looks to be OK.

I have had my bottle about the same amount of time and there is about 2 inches of liquid left. I have used mine consistently the whole time and it seems fine so yours should be ok.

Does anyone know if temperature could effect it? Where I keep my bottle it can get above 100F in there at this time without AC.

I don't know about the Filmguard in that temp but keep your films out of it. They need to be 70 or below. Cold, dark and dry.

Don't worry I don't keep any film in there longer then I need to. I don't really have a good place for them yet but I've been keeping them in my unfinished digital theater room at the moment. I have to keep my film stuff in a uninsulated garage

I just noticed FilmGuard is gone from the Film-Tech's Amazon store. When or was this discontinued? I must have bought one of the last remaining stocks not long ago.

It's still available from Paul Foster here in the UK.
