I always believed my first projector to be the plastic hand cranked "Brumberger" which had maximum capacity of 50'. (It was all "headline" editions for me in the early days.) Well, today I came across this ad in an old comic book and realized THIS beauty was my first projector. It didn't show a movie, as the ad would have you believe...there were little film strips you advanced frame by frame, to sync with a record which gave you the narration.

There is a nice vintage toy store in a small town nearby called THE TOYS TIME FORGOT. Actually it is pretty awesome walking through looking around as they have so much cool stuff. Anyway, they have this projector in the original box that is is very nice condition....

My son and I refer to the store as PRICES THAT LOGIC FORGOT because they want $250 for it! They want top dollar for everything. Its all in great condition though. They have some 200' silent Kens and Castles and they are $35-40 each. Like I said, it is a walk through memory lane up and down the isles except for the price tags!

Bill

I had a couple of slide projectors as a kid, I remember one had 35mm strips of stills from Disney's 'Alice in Wonderland'. It was all leading up to the time I could afford a cine camera and projector.
