I'm always happy to thread up the holiday reels but realized I haven't much of an audience planned out this year. I'll still put a show or two together, and maybe it'll just be me and the Basset Hounds. Certainly my Christmas Eve tv shows after church are a tradition..."Christmas at the Clampetts" episode of BEVERLY HILLBILLIES, "Night of the Meek" from THE TWILIGHT ZONE and things wrap up with "The Night Before Christmas" with Jackie Gleason and THE HONEYMOONERS. I'll have another show the weekend before Christmas and run a couple features... I am still proud to show MIRACLE ON 34th STREET, a beautiful original I picked up from Dino Everette a few years back--one of the prizes in my entire collection. And, i still run the WELL USED old Niles Films Super 8 print of IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE, which I've probably shown to more audiences in the past 35 years than any other print in my collection. And of course, I have to find time for MARCH OF THE WOODEN SOLDIERS. And then there are all those Castle prints which are true camp classics. And a new favorite, Denholm Elliot in A CHILD'S CHRISTMAS IN WALES in pin sharp LPP. More than enough to keep the reels spinning. What do you have lined up???????????????

I haven't done a Christmas show for a few years and every year I set my mind to it but....well...maybe this year...

I'm going to screen "Davey and Goliath Christmas Lost and Found" a 30 min special from 1968 I have on 16mm. There is not much color left but a thoughtful lesson to hear again. I am glad to have it despite the condition as these are hard to find.

Bill
