I have a set of Lauritzen and Lundquist's AMERICAN FILM INDEX (1908--1915) & (1916--1920) for sale. These books are an invaluable reference source for anyone seriously interested in the silent era. Also, in an unusual touch for reference books, they include some great, high-qualiity photographs of various silent stars.
They are in essentially good, but obviously well used condition; the jackets have some tears and obvious signs of use.
As part of the package I will throw in a free, brand new copy of Edward Wagenknecht's THE MOVIES IN THE AGE OF INNOCENCE. This is the 1997 paperback reprint from Limelight Editions. This great book is, and always will be, one of the two or three best and most important books on the silent era.
And -- if I can fit it in the box -- I'll also throw in a used laserdisc copy of the Maurice Tourneur/Clarence Brown version of THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS!
