Just recently ran across an obit from last year for Grant Johnson of Boulder, Colorado. Some of us who have been in this hobby since the late 70's-80's may remember Grant's ads in the Big Reel and Film/Movie Collector's World for his low-priced 16mm public domain prints of jazz clips and early animation. Grant had not been active as a film dealer for some time when I last talked with him on the phone several years ago, but he still remembered me as an old customer. |
