Saw this in this morning's Wall Street Journal...lots of dynamics going on as their stock climbs on the news, regardless. Regal has a drop in ticket sales--is it because of weak Hollywood product? And wonder who might swoop down and swallow them up? The Texans of Cinemark, or the Chinese owned AMC?? (Can you imagine, China owning Hollywood.) |

The L.A. Times had also reported on the possible sale of Regal Cinemas. Just two years ago the Chinese bought out AMC Theaters for 2.6 billion so in my opinion, that's probably who would also buy Regal. |
