So people are thrashing Paul Foster over on the 8mm forum. Personally, I've always had good dealings with Paul in the past.

What I find somewhat amusing, though, is that, in the course of the thread, it was mentioned by someone that the integrity of the hobby, it's collectors, and the bonds between collectors are what's most important.

So, is it me....or what???

Where were all these people a few weeks back, when "one of our own" was lying to them through his teeth?

:?: not one to form an opinion without knowing what happened but where "I" stand Paul has always been a straight shooter.

Paul Foster is a staple in the film business. If he posts his lists here, he will be defended.

I have bought from him with no problems. I am sure if there is a problem he will work it out with you. There must be more to the story with these few persons that claim they had bad service. Being a dealer myself, there is no way you can inspect every film from beginning to end. Time does not allow. Someone once suggested I hire a kid from the neighborhood to watch each print before I listed it in order to give me a description. [set5_b/set5_b/smilielol5.gif] [set5_b/set5_b/willy_nilly.gif] [set5_b/set5_b/banghead.gif] [set5_b/set5_b/conehead.gif] [set5_b/set5_b/toetap05.gif]

Whats worse is, I don't think he was kidding.

Nearly all my 16mm features have been purchased from Paul Foster; I've had no issues with him. He sells films to suit all pockets. I saw the comments on one of the forums; the commenters didn't go into any details. It's always been a pleasure to deal with him. I am perfectly satisfied with my purchases.

Paul just posted here his new lists and updates. Get 'em while they're hot!
