The first year of FILM COLLECTOR I got straight from the source but then I let it lapse a year and now I'm getting it again through Steve. I am missing a few issues now...I'll have to see about getting some back issues.

Joe, that is a good comparison you made about the two magazines. I wasn't sure how to compare them.

I used to buy each issue of FILM COLLECTOR on ebay, as Phil used to sell it there for a while. Since he stopped, I haven't bought an issue so I'm missing a couple. I keep meaning to phone and subscribe but ....one of these days.

I used to subscribe to both mags and wrote articles too. Since Osi is writing in The Reel Image I cannot in good faith participate.

Phil has written in his editorials about the lack of participation and circulation. Then I would think selling the mag on Ebay or Amazon would give wide exposure and sales plus it makes paying for the mag easy. I do understand there is overhead involved with these two venues, but you have to spend money to make money.

I just look at those pages as extra ammo for the outhouse. [set5_b/set5_b/smilielol5.gif]

Yes Wayne he does rock. [set5_b/set5_b/smilielol5.gif] Looks like Osi isn't doing much for Small Floormat either.

I wonder what the circulation is for each of these magazines? The owners say they do not make any profit on them. I think they should. It would be a good incentive to keep the presses rolling. [set5_b/set5_b/sifone.gif]
