My neighbor went all out and threw a great Halloween party and again asked me if I would provide some film entertainment for his costumed guests. I planned to run the show in my back yard projecting on my trusty 12' inflatable screen. Unfortunately, the weather was worse by the hour: Hurricane Sandy is heading my way (I am exactly in the path of the "eye"). Well, I in no way wanted to contend with a show in the rain--especially getting the screen wet, rushing films, speaker, projectors inside, etc. Fortunately, the contractor who is building an addition to my house had just installed the windows and door in the room on Friday; I realized I had a 28' x 12' theatre under roof and ready to use. The ten party guests had a great time. I ran Chapter 3 of PANTHER GIRL OF THE KONGO...a Delta Rhythm Boys theatrical sing along reel (my audiences love these)...Leon Errol in SPOOKY WOOKY...The Three Stooges FROM NURSE TO WORSE and Disney's great LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW animation. At midnight I screened one of my all time favorites (and I know Dan Lail is a fan, too): William Castle's HOMICIDAL. So, the party was saved and I am leaving the projector set up for use during the hurricane (if the power stays on.) Anyone else running a Halloween show?

File comment: Spur of the moment conversion of unfinished addition into movie theatre worked well. The EIKI threaded up with HOMICIDAL
