A big Welcome to Juergen Lossau who has done so much to present current information to the world of Super 8 and 16mm film collecting and film making. Juergen's magazine info can be found on the "Film & Film Related Sellers" link. [set5_b/set5_b/cheers2.gif]

Juergen, I meant to add that new website to the Film News Link above. It has a lot of good information for beginners wanting to learn the art of real small guage motion picture making. I have always been fascinated with the use of Super 8 in shooting and editing films of my own. Back in the 1970's, I read a book about Igmar Bergman in his early days of film making using 16MM film. He would actually shoot a scene three times with the same camera from different angles in order to compile a three camera edit. He was working on a shoestring budget and could not afford three cameras, much less three cameramen. He also shot silent and added all sound, including dialogue, later. I was very intrigued by this. This, of course, could be applied to Super 8. If I were not so busy running danajerrye films, 8MM Forum Worldwide, danajerrye.com, and restoring an old boat, I think I would be getting into Super 8 filming again.
