No need, Dan. They're very obviously the shots. Who's "kinzieman", folks?

Mike, what is really ridiculous about this Ebay sell is members have been asking for answers for exactly one month today when you asked "why is it on cores". Since then we have been jerked around, accused of stalking, keeping files on the seller, lying, etc., but no direct explanations from the seller. AND, WTF is Derann's Gone With The Wind doing wound and taped without reels and cores anyway!!!! [set5_b/set5_b/conehead.gif] [set5_b/set5_b/banghead.gif]

Can't afford the reels? [set5_b/set5_b/smash.gif]

None of these questions will ever be answered from whom we are asking....only useless rants.

Bill :D

Mick, you were not wrong. Winbert did supply the screenshots, but they weren't his....
I previously contacted "kinzieman' about the GWTW screenshots used. His name is Jeff, he's in Canada, and has sold some very nice films on eBay before. He doesn't seem to have a problem with his screenshots being used, though he obviously wasn't aware of it until I brought it to his attention....
Seems some folks just like to collect other collectors' screenshots for their own use....

Joe, thanks for the info. I managed to pull up kenzieman's gwtw auction, but the pics were long gone. I see kenzieman's was on Kodak poly stock. wonder if Osi knew what stock his was on?

Kenzieman has some great titles and feedback. I'll have to put him on my watch list.

Look at what I just found:

I was thinking that some time ago I received a super 8 trailer I bought on a core and I found it while I was cleaning some films tonight. But for some reason when I look at it, it makes me angry...

I feel your pain, Bill. I guess some folks are just rotten to the core. [set5_b/set5_b/smilielol5.gif]

Well, I spoke with the person for whom reel-ality is selling the films. This person said he sent the films to reel-ality on reels. reel-ality stated he received the films off reels without cores.

This person asked to remain anonymous.

Is the saving on shipping cost really worth it if you need to buy reels after you receive the film, or do you keep some of your films on cores and only reel them occasionally when you watch them?

I could see doing this with films you watch rarely, and of course it's worth it if you have a stash of empty reels in the first place.
