Just came across someone in Leeds, UK, who calls their business Reellumination, turning 35mm features into table lamps. The 1st picture in B&W is of the Hitchcock classic 'Psycho'. i'm sure if this complete film came up for sale it would attract a lot of attention from 35mm collectors. A few of the other prints destroyed are Terminator 2, The Godfather, and Harry Potter.

It's, uh...different, but NOT at all to my liking. I wonder if the creator used trailers, and not features, for the art.

You could be right there Chris; so many people trying to make money by destroying films and equipment in the name of art. Eventually the heat from the lamp will cause it to give off a vinegar smell.
