Howdy All!

I'm looking for a fairly inexpensive Sound Super 8 Projector for a back up. It needs to have an audio out source to be able to run to a seperate powered speaker or PA. I'm doing some Super 8 Sessions in a few months and would like to have seemless transtions between films (or a back up in case my B & H goes down)

I'd sure rather buy from somebody here who knows and loves film & projectors like I do and will know a good/working projector as opposed to buying from somebody on ebay that says... "Estate sale projector! Turns on and the bulb works! I have NO film to test it out any further so this is being sold AS IS!" YIKES!

Inexpensive- $75-$150.00

Thanks All!

Tim, John Capazzo sometimes has projectors for sale. He recently sold a couple of Eumigs close to your price range. I bought one of them. Looks and works great!

Thanks Dan!

I'm willing to go a little more if necessary for the projector.

Hey RC! Hope your doin all right! I bought some rubber rollers for my Elmo CT-16 from you last year and you helped me out over the phone! What a GREAT projector that is! $10.00 at a garage sale plus cost for the new rollers! What a find!

Anyway, I'll check out the Eumig on your website, but I have a question...

Are dual 8 projectors hard on films?

Thanks!

Tim

Greetings Tim
Only when you run 8mm film on super 8 mode
And super 8 on 8mm mode
It rips the film [set5_b/set5_b/biggrinjester.gif]
Just be sure
the projector is yet for the right size film
Last time i heard from you was back on 10/11/10
Hope all is well
RC

Tim, I have used Eumig dual 8s on both gauges. No problem. Eumigs are smooth and quite.

Hey guys!

Thanks so much for the tips!

I think I'm gonna try and find an Elmo ST-180E and make my current projector my back up!
