I've been running super 8 for several years now, but have recently come into several reg. 8 films I'd love to screen. Nothing fancy, just something to get the job done. I have very little to spend and shipping will undoubtedly be overwhelming. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys. -Nic |

Nicholas, would a silent projector work or do you need sound? |

Sound would be nice, but it's not absolutely necessary. I could go silent if the price was right... but yes, I'd prefer sound capabilities. |

Quote: I could go silent if the price was right Silent would cost less than sound. I know I have a silent projector I could let go of, but not sure about std 8 sound. Let me look an see what I have. |

Nicholas, I have this Kodak Hi-Mat 8 with variable speed. It needs a DLP lamp. It runs quite and smooth with a on inch lens.
