I am looking for a reg 8mm and super 8mm projector with variable speed for film transfer. I just tried my reg-super 8mm projector and all I got was some bad flicker with my video cam, no variable speed on my Bell and Howell projector. Real cheap please! Must have 400 foot reels because all my film is on 400 foot reels (10 of them). And I also have 12 400 foot reels of reg 8mm I would like to transfer. Just for film transfer and I will re sell it. Hi Paul.
I have 8 and S8 projectors but not for sale. I to have transferred 8& S8 to digital. These photo's may help you to find what your looking for. Also if you do find one change out the blub for a lamp. See Dan Lail adapting a different lamp to a projector, page 5. I did this to a 8mm and it saved me money in bulbs. also you if you can find a ( OPTEX video transfer system it may help. As for the flicker, changing the the shutter blades would help.
