| Post subject: | elmo sc-18 for sale |
looking to sell my elmo sc-18. not sure of what i should price it at to move it. it works great and has new belts with less than 3 hours or play on them. it comes in a wheeled case and has original manual, power cord, cleaning kit, speaker adapter, etc. any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Do you have any pictures of the machine or know any of the features? More information would greatly help in placing a value on the projector. Having new belts on an Elmo is a huge step since the original ones turned to goo. I've cleaned a 1200HD and it wasn't fun but paid off in the end with a wonderful projector. Cosmetics don't go very far when pricing. I've seen clean projectors run like crap and beat-to-he'' projectors run great. What matters most is if the projector throws a steady image, the lens is clear and sharp, if the projector is stereo (Not a deal breaker) and if the arms are strong in take-up and rewind. The Elmo's were the best of the line and probably the ones most real collectors look for. I just recieved my first one this past summer and although it was a pain in the backside to get running I won't use anything else for super 8. |
