Thanks to John Capazzo, I now have a Standard 8 sound projector. Now the search is on for the even more iilusive standard 8 sound films. Features would be nice, but anything would be of interest. [set5_b/set5_b/lurk5.gif]

Thanks, Pat!

You know, the quality of somme of these std 8 sound is quite remarkable. I watched a Walton feature last night, To Be Or Not To Be with Jack Benny and Carol Lombard. What a treat.

I have I think 2 Std 8 silents from my youth. A disney cartoon and a Chaplin 50ft. Haven't watched them in years. I just remember the image getting substantially smaller when I switched the aperture.

Mike,

I am using a Eumig S 810 D with a zoom lens and a 100 watt halogen lamp. It looks just like super 8 and the sound through an external amp is suberb.

Thanks, Pat!

I replied to your email. I am really happy with my recent Eumig S 810 D. Now the hunt is on for std features, cartoons, and shorts. [set5_b/set5_b/auto.gif]
