I list below my latest extra sales list for February.

Hollywood & The Stars – Monsters we have loved and Known 600’ B/W Sound B/B- £35.00p Well used (or off a poor master) but extremely rare TV documentary from the early 1960’s, it’s narrated by Joseph cotton and looks at all the famous monsters seen in the cinema up to then, many stars and clips, some famous horror and sci-fi movies, it has one or two splices though, but it ran OK
Shivers 400’ Colour Sound B+/B £30 OB No Titles I’ve watched this ultra rare Major 8 Movies release of this early David Cronenberg horrorall the way through, apart from front titles it seems all there, I found it was quite a good cut, one of the better M8M’s releases, still good print as well!
Marilyn Monroe Reel 400’ B/W Sound B+ £20 This contains a rare screen test, a car advert, and trailers to ‘Let’s make it Real’ – ‘Don’t Bother to Knock’ – ‘Niagara’ & ‘Gentlemen Prefer Blondes’
Elvis - Aloha From Hawaii 2x600’ Colour Sound B+ £65 Elvis TV special from 1973, this looks like an edited version from the U.S., fair colour off NTSC tape, so already looks slightly faded, but some great Elvis songs
Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger 400’ Colour Sound B+/B £20 OB Fun fantasy film with Ray Harryhausen special effects it stars Patrick Wayne & Jane Seymour
Psycho 250’ B/W Sound B+ /B £20 This reel consists of the 200’ Castle release with the complete shower scene U8 release cut together, it also has a homemade musical overture on the leader
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Trl. 50’ Colour Sound B+ £15 Nice tease trailer to the 2nd Indiana Jones movie starring Harrison Ford and Kate Capshaw
Star Wars – Return of the Jedi Trl. 50’ Colour Sound B+ £20 Fine trailer to the 3rd film in the original trilogy, starring Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher & Mark Hamill
Tron Trl. 50’ Colour Sound B+ £25 Nice print to this ultra rare trailer of this Disney classic sci-fi movie starring Jeff Bridges & Bruce Boxleitner
Ginger Nutt’s Bee Bother 200’ Colour Sound B+ £20 Nice print to this Walton release of 1949 David Hand animated production, squirrel Ginger Nutt is trying to give flowers to his girlfriend, but a Mole, a Crow and a Rabbit steal all the flowers from a field, angering an irate Bee
Elvis on the Dorsey Brothers Show 200’ B/W Sound B+ £25 OB Red Fox print of this Dorsey Brothers TV show from 1956, which includes the appearance of Elvis Presley
All the President’s Men 400’ Colour Sound B+ £25 OB Rare print of this story of the investigation into the Watergate scandal that toppled Richard Nixon, it stars Robert Redford & Dustin Hoffman
Midnight Express 400’ Colour Sound B+ £25 OB Good print of this true story of an American locked up in a Turkish prison for drug smuggling and how he endures a harsh prison society
The Exorcist 400’ Colour Sound B+ £35 OB Nice print of rare Warner Bros. release of this classic horror starring Linda Blair & Max von Sydow, quite well edited too, with many stand out moments
The Nine Ages of Nakedness 4x400’ B/W Sound B+/B £65 Rare print of this Harrison Marks titillation feature, if you like seeing naked women, then this is the film for you
The 39 Steps 4x400’ B/W Sound B+ £75 Robert Donat & Madeleine Carroll star in this 1935 Hitchcock thriller adapted from the John Buchan novel
The Towering Inferno 3x400’ Colour Sound B+ £75 OB Decent print of this well edited disaster blockbuster starring an all star cast that features Steve McQueen, Paul Newman & Fred Astaire
14 Carrot Rabbit 200’ Colour Sound B+ £15 Bugs Bunny goes mad when he’s near Gold, so claim jumping villain Chillicothe (Yosemite Sam) sees a way of finding easy money!


Psycho Promo/Trl. 100’ B/W Sound £17 This is the famous promo of Alfred Hitchcock taking us on a tour of the ‘Psycho’ set, showing, and describing some of the events that happened
G.I. Blues Trl. 50’ Colour Sound B+ £15 OB Derann trailer to this Elvis Presley fun filled musical with snatches of some of the famous songs to boot!
The Lost World 200’ B/W Silent B+ £15 Extract from the 1925 Wallace Beery & Bessie Love silent feature and features stop motion Dinosaurs created by Willis O’Brien who went onto to create and animate ‘King Kong’ eight years later
The Hunchback of Notre Dame 200’ B/W Silent B+ £15 Extract from the 1923 version of this Victor Hugo story starring Lon Chaney as the ‘Hunchback’& Patsy Ruth Miller as ‘Esmerelda’
The Warriors 400’ Colour Sound B+ £25 OB Good print of this violent Marketing Films release of this 1979 Walter Hill film about street gangs of New York, Michael Beck & James Remar star
Below Zero 400’ B/W Sound B+/B £28 OB Walton print of this brilliant 1930 Laurel & Hardy short, it’s the dead of winter and street musicians Stan & Ollie (who are playing ‘In the good old Summertime’ in the freezing weather) find a wallet in the snow filled with money, a thief tries to steal it, but a local Policeman comes to their aid, the boys decide to treat him to a slap up meal, but you know there is going to be a catch, don’t you! One of the boys best ever shorts
Carrie #1 400’ Colour Sound B+/B £20 OB Pretty good print to this 1st Derann edit of this Brian De Palma horror about a young naïve girl who has remarkable telekinetic powers, who wreaks a terrible revenge on those who scorned her, it stars Sissy Spacek, Piper Laurie & Amy Irvine
Carrie #2 400’ Colour Sound B+/B £20 OB Pretty good print to this 2nd Derann edit of this Brian De Palma horror about a young naïve girl who has remarkable telekinetic powers, who wreaks a terrible revenge on those who scorned her, it stars Sissy Spacek, Piper Laurie & Amy Irvine

The Haunted House 400’ B/W Sound B+ £17 This is an extract from the 1943 comedy ‘Ghosts on the Loose’ and stars the Bowery Boys and Bela Lugosi, released by Fletcher Films, unusual!
Hardcore 400’ Colour Sound B+/B £25 OB Here’s a rarity, this was one of the last ever 400’ editions released by Columbia Home Movies (along with ‘The China Syndrome’), and there wasn’t many printed, so very, very rare! It stars George C. Scott as a conservative Midwestern Father who is hunting for his runaway daughter in the seedy world of pornography, so Adults Only!
On the Side 2x600’ B/W Sound B+ £65 English dubbed German made sex film from 1971 that looks at the infidelities of European housewife’s, well made of its kind
Winchester 73 5x400’ B/W Standard 8 Sound B+/B £65 James Stewart, Shelley Winters and Dan Duryea star in this cracking western from director Anthony Mann, it tells the story of a prized rifle, its journey from one owner to another and one man’s(Stewart) search for murderous fugitive
The Band Concert 200’ Colour Sound B+ £10 OB P/N: Has fade Disney’s 1935 F/L cartoon sees bandleader Mickey Mouse determined to perform their music despite the interference of Donald Duck
Sing Bing Sing 200’ B/W Sound B £10 This comes from a 1933 short starring Bing Crosby, he sings songs like ‘Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea’, ‘Lovable’ and 2 others
I Wan’na be Like You 200’ Colour Sound B+/B £10 OB P/N: Has slight fade Fun Disney segment from the F/L feature ‘The Jungle Book’
Perils in a Harem 200’ B/W Standard 8 Sound B+/B £12 This Castle Films release is an extract from the 1967 film ‘The Perils of Pauline’ and stars Pamela Austin as “Pauline”
Soup’s On 200’ Colour Sound B+/B £10 OB P/N: slight fade Donald Duck cartoon from 1948, Donald has his nephews over for lunch, but they come in filthy dirty, he sends them to bed with no supper, so the boys hatch a plan for revenge!
Tennis Chumps 200’ Colour Sound B+/B £13 This Tom & Jerry cartoon from 1949 has only fair colour, but it is one of the better ones, as Jerry soon gets even with Tom & friend on the tennis court
Crazy Kitchen 100’ B/W Standard 8 Sound B+ £10 Snub Pollard stars in this crazy comedy sound short, with plenty of goofs and pranks, as you’d expect from this kind of film
Pal’s Adventure 200’ B/W Standard 8 Sound £14 OB Made in 1948, this tells of a clever Alsatian dog who helps to clear his owners name after being wrongly accused of theft
Movie Madness – Heckle & Jeckle 200’ Colour Sound B+ £10 OB P/N: slight fade Terrytoons cartoon from 1951, the 2 talking Magpies have fun in a movie studio
Mickey Mouse the 1st 50 Years 400’ Colour Sound B+/B £20 OB This is the red boxed collectors print with the nice Disney booklet inside with plastic sleeve, still pretty good print too!
Hungry for Sex 2x600’ B/W Sound B/B+ £65 English dubbed German sex comedy from 1972, it tells stories about what happens when teenagers parents are away from home, quite funny in places
Me Big Fight 200’ Colour Sound B+ £10 OB P/N: slight fade Disney/Paramount co-production starring Robin Williams & Shelley Duvall as ‘Popeye’ & ‘Olive Oyl’ respectively
The Sexplorers 200’ B/W Silent B £10 OB Early Derann release, it looks like it’s a segment from one of their sex features, quite a bit of nudity, so adults only!
Warner Bros. Silver Jubilee 200’ B/W Sound B/B+ £20 Made in 1930 it’s a filmed celebration dinner with many of Warner’s big stars of the day in attendance, pretty rare now
