Does anyone still make and sell spring belts for Kalart Victor and other projectors? I used to buy them from the late great Harry Hilfinger of ES-O-S Pictures in Kansas City; always a good source and reasonably priced.

Old-stock belts sometimes show up on ebay, but at antique-shop prices. Premium Parts/PRB used to sell spring belting in bulk with connectors to use when cut to length, but I don't know if they still do. When I ask hardware dealers about spring belting, all I get is a weird look...

The best answer I can give is no unfortunatly. Fortunatly though, there are rubber belts on the market made the same width and length as most spring belts. The problem most people had with spring belts was that they slip badly. I had that problem with an old Keystone projector. I found the exact size replacement belt in rubber at a local copy machine repair store. The replacement was $4.99 and works better than the old spring belt even though I had to drill out the rivets holding a safety plate on. Replacement parts are out there but expand a bit and be open to different types of belts and you should find what you need.
