I'm looking for a 1.1 lens for my Elmo 1200HD projector. If you have one for sale, send me a pm or email me at hnbradley2840@gmail.com
*Bought one from Paul Foster

Harrison, did you get a good deal? Mindless collectors want to know. [set5_b/set5_b/conehead.gif]

I payed 150 for mine but will be returning it as the lens is fogged up to the point it's about the same as a 1.3 lens. So I'll be changing this back to a want ad.

Ok, found another one from Paul Foster. This one is going to be around £125 shipped or roughly $200. Can anyone tell me if this is a good price or if I should keep looking? Also is there much of a difference between the silver and black barrel varieties?

Harrison, $200 shipped is a very good price, especially from a reputable dealer like Paul Foster. I would think the optics in the silver and black barrel would be the same.

I picked up a Elmo 1.0 a couple years ago for around £60. It rattles a little - which I'm informed is the zoom assembly - but has perfect picture.
It's always worth keeping an eye on ebay.

I personally would trust Paul Foster. He's been in business helping other collectors for years and knows what he is talking about. It may be a bit expensive but you'd have better luck through another collector than on Ebay.

I believe I have received another fogged one.

Unless that's how it's supposed to look, I think I might have to return this one also. This might also be something that happened during shipping and might go away, so hopefully it'll do it in the next day or two.
