A Columbia picture. Made in 1949. Super 8 sound. 15×400 ft. Reels. All Reels are sharp! This is the second serial. Stars Robert Lowery and John Duncan. Storyline is Batman and Robin are after the villain called the wizard! The wizard and his gang are after Diamonds. For his machine which can make him Invisible! Batman and Robin go through a lot to catch this guy! Lots of action and a good story. A collectors Item. Note the first chapter is edited to about 18 minutes. Uncut runs about 30 minutes. All Columbia picture serials on super 8 .the first chapters were edited ! If your a serial fan you will love this one! The word is Columbia was thinking adout a third serial . But it never happen! Its a shame! Review by Leon Norris.

This serial is a beautiful pin sharp Columbia release. Years ago, I watched the entire thing over the course of two nights and now, I think it's time to revisit.
