A great classic comedy. Laurel and Hardy. A nice short. A nice print. Made in 1931. Runs 28 minutes. Blackhawk films. Super 8 sound. Storyline is Ollie is a big time mayor. Well he thinks he is ! Laurel is his assistant . Ollie is being blacked mailed by his one time flame who is out to black mail him! She knows he's married. She wants money by a certain time. So Ollie sends Stan to keep her company until he can get over to her place! But Stan is no help at all! Things get crazy from then on! A must have! Review by Leon Norris

Agreed Leon!!! Before I got into 16mm - in 1969 I think - I received a super 8 sound Blackhawk print - brand new from Blackhawk as a Christmas gift from my parents. CHICKENS COME HOME always one of my favorites!!

Thanks for your feedback Bill . It is one of my best loved Laurel and Hardy's. I could watch this one over and over and not get tired of it! One of there BEST! Thanks, Leon Norris
