Here is a great release by Derann Films. That's Dancing, released in 1985. Superb quality color and black and white on LPP polyester stock. Neatly packaged in 5x400' boxes. Sharp focus. The scope sequences are presented in letterbox, so most of the cinemaphotography is intact. This goes from the silent era to 1985. Extended coveage of the Busby Berkeley era is a real trreat! Eleanor Powell is quite seductive in her dance sequences and she can spin like a top. The hosts are: Mikhail Baryshnikov, Ray Bolger, Sammy Davis Jr., Gene Kelly, and Liza Minnelli. Personally I liked the early fifties technicolor clips of the modern jazz routines. One of the great things about this film is a lot of the dance clips are complete. The later material in the late seventies forward doesn't even come close to the productions from the classic years when the studios made "good pictures".

If you see a copy of this, pick it up. You will not be disappointed.
