Emory University's film department has opened special 35mm film showings to the public. Four of us attended Sweet Smell Of Success last Wednesday night. Wow!! What a beautiful small theatre. The seats were tiered downward perfect and the acoustics were sweet. It presented a grand presentation for a classic film. The restored print was in the original aspect ratio too. Before the show, a professor gave a short lecture about the cinematography and it special uses to create the mood fro this drama. No talking. No cell phones. Only an 85% full room of film enthusiasts. Oh! I forgot to mention....it was free. [set5_b/set5_b/party.gif]

Mike, they are all scheduled once a week for the next couple of months. After that, I don't know. The next one we are going to is "Baby Doll" with Carol Baker. [set5_b/set5_b/auto.gif]

4 of you filled it 85%? Or did you mean there were 4 in your group that went?

Well, being that I had just feasted on sushi, I was 85% full and the theater was filled to about 85% capacity, but not on sushi. [set5_b/set5_b/willy_nilly.gif] There were 4 in my party.
